If you think that a child or adult at risk may be at risk of harm, please raise the concern. You can speak to the parish safeguarding representatives or contact the Archdiocese of Liverpool Safeguarding Department.
You do not need to wait until you are certain before seeking safeguarding advice.
Adults wishing to volunteer in a parish role that requires safeguarding clearance must first speak to a Parish Safeguarding Representative before beginning the role.
Where a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, the necessary process and documentation must be completed before the volunteer starts the relevant role.
